Famous Monsters of Filmland #201 Original Cover Art Transparency

This is the original color art transparency used to make the cover of FMOF #201.  Art is by Osmin Askin, German artist who was the cover artist for the first several issues of FMOF between 1993 and 1995.  

While editor RF liked the art, the original rendering was muted and more subdued in its color than was suitable for a magazine cover.  Editor RF sent a proof mockup requesting Askin rerender the image with stronger colors and a more brilliant color contrast to achieve the look he was after for the cover.  Askin retouched his illustration to the editor's specifications and that was how the cover was done. 

This sale includes 2 4" x 5" transparencies:  the original final slide that was scanned and used on the cover of FMOF #201.  Plus the original 4" x 5" unaltered transparency sent to the editor and the editor's mockup with alteration notes sent to Askin.  Collectors will find displaying the 2 images side by side will make a unique addition to their monster art collection. 

Size: both images appx. 4" x 5".  Transparency can be displayed on a light box or can be printed for your art collection.  Only 1 pair is available.  Comes with C of A from FMOF editor/publisher Ray Ferry.
